McGill offers confidential, non-judgemental support given by friendly and well-trained peer supporters. Peer supporters are there to hear you out, whether you're stressed, lonely, feeling down, or just want to chat. They can also connect you with other resources. You can drop in at the Peer Support Centre on weekdays from 11 AM to 5 PM, or make an appointment to chat one-on-one with a supporter about anything on your mind.
Keep.meSAFE is a mental health counselling service, offered to students in partnership with the Post-Graduate Student Society, that provides 24/7/365 access to licensed counsellors through telephone and mobile chat in over 60 languages with a diverse counsellors who understand your experience and the unique needs of your community (including 2SLGBTQ+, BI&POC, immigrant communities, international students, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and more). The Student Wellness Hub provides a range of services to support the wellbeing of McGill students. Book an appointment with an access advisor or local wellness advisor to learn about mental health resources available to you both on- and off-campus. You can also contact the Student Wellness Hub to book an appointment with a general practitioner or psychiatrist to discuss your mental health.
